Google are working tirelessly to get their first party applications to have a dark mode version that will be able to run on Android 10.
According to Google, it intends to release dark versions for all its first-party apps. Reports stressed that the version will feature a system-wide dark mode that changes all apps’ colour schemes automatically.
Recent developments shows that a dark mode version for Gmail was released on September 11 and it has started running on some phones with Android 10.
As it is now only Android 10 users will be able to use the Dark Mode Play Store when it is finally released.
Advantage of the dark mode have been listed to be that it is easy to the eyes, another according to research is that it doesn’t drain much battery. Another thing is the applications look cooler on Dark Mode.
