President Muhammadu Buhari has departed Nigeria for Russia to attend a Russia-African Business Forum. According to the president’s spokesman, Garba Shehu, the forum will bring together African and Russian business leaders, to enhance Russian investments in Africa, and promote African businesses interest in the host country.
Garba Shehu revealed to press that the president will be accompanied by three Governors, Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State and Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State.
And also on this trip are Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, Minister of Trade and Investment, Adeniyi Adebayo, Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Olamilekan Adegbite and Minister of State, Petroleum, Timipre Sylva.
The summit is tagged, ”Summit and Economic Forum Russia-Africa” to be held in Sochi, Sirius Park of Science and Art from October 23-24th,2019.
