The Social Media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, Lauretta Onochie has responded to the rejection of the Integrated Payroll and Personal Information System IPPIS by the Academic Staff Union of University ASUU.
Lauretta Onochie in her statement stated that every lecturer should be committed to one University that pays their salaries per month.
She said, “A University Lecturer should be committed to one Institution that pays him monthly. He can support another university on a small scale as a consultant. Working full time in many universities at a time, is the reason they churn out graduates with no skills. There’s no commitment.”
At the moment, ASUU is planning to go on no pay no work strategy to drive their protest home.
