Emery calls for calm following loss to Leicester City

“Emery Out, Emery Out!” is the latest chants among Arsenal fans following another blow to Leicester City on Saturday in the Premier League.

Arsenal coach, Unai Emery is now under intense pressure to perform else he loses his job at the end of the season.

This comes after the Foxes defeated the Gunners with 2 goals to nothing from Jamie Vardy and James Madisson.

However, following the defeat, Emery called for calm as he stressed that many of the Gunners players are young which is one of the reasons for the poor performance.

He said,

“I am speaking with the club to stay calm and to stay patient to improve and recover some confidence with some circumstances.
“We have young players who are improving and growing up with us. We are receiving criticism but I know that’s my job.
“I’ve had lots of moments like that but I’ve recovered by working to get confidence, being together with the club and players.”
