Convener of 7th Republic, Comrade Tanimu Kazeem has joined the ascending voices of stalwarts within the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, to move a motion against Prince Uche Secondus, calling for his immediate resignation as National Chairman of the party.

TM in a press statement personally signed by him on Thursday, November 21, explained that the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, under Secondus has not recorded any significant achievement, as evident in the party’s woeful outing at the 2019 general election. And the more recently the loses suffered in Kogi and Bayelsa Gubernatorial elections.

Secondus, according to TM has been found guilty of constitutional breaches, including frolicking with incumbent Governor of Bayelsa, Seriake Dickson to impose a candidate that was not popular among the people because of their selfish agenda, a plot that has now caused the party their continued reign in the state.

Among other allegations leveled against Secondus are financial misappropriation.

He has been alleged of syphoning funds that was originally meant for campaigns.

“We do not see anymore promises in the leadership of Uche Secondus, he has disappointed party members on all fronts. To this end, I Comrade Tanimu Kazeem in consonance with members of our beloved party, the People’s Democratic Party, pass a vote of no confidence on Prince Uche Secondus, he should step down, while the National Working Committee convenes a convention soon, to chat a new and progressive course for the party. Long Live People’s Democratic Party!”
