Ubi Franklin – ‘I sat at the gate hoping to work with Tuface’

The owner of one of Nigeria’s biggest record label, Made Men Music Group (MMMG) and Business mogul, Ubi Franklin on Friday graced an interview on #wakeUpNigeriaOnTVC, where he recounted his early days experience.

He recounted how he made a living out of freelance jobs and also how he would drive to 2Baba’s house with the hope of getting an opportunity to work with him, only to be kept at the gate.

He also spoke on his work relationship with the likes of Ikechuckwu, Iyanya among others.

Most times I will have to do freelance jobs to be noticed, I will drive all the way from the Island to the mainland to 2Baba’s house and sit at the gate with DJ Spinal. I worked with Julius Agwu as his P.A and I’ve always had the passion to do things and do them right.

He said.

When asked how he manages being the public eyes & expectations?

Ubi Franklin replied that if you follow what the social media says, you won’t get to see the true picture of how things actually happen.

He further stated that, Irrespective of whatever happens, someone somewhere is entertained by what is happening to you or happy at whatever it is that is happening to you.
