The Kogi state Police Command said it has made some arrests of suspected killers of Kogi state PDP women leader Mrs Salome Abuh, who was gruesomely set ablaze in her house at Ochadamu, Ofu Local Government Area of the state, on November 18, two days after the Kogi state governorship election which Governor Yahaya Bello of the All Progressive Congressive was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC).
This was revealed to the press by spokesman for the command, Deputy Superintendent of Police William Aya while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria, in Lokoja on Monday.
Aya said the arrests were made on Friday and that the arrested suspects are facing interrogations to unravel the cause behind her murder and those primarily behind her murder.
He said that the outcome of the investigation would be made public as soon as it was completed.
NAN reported that President Muhammadu Buhari had on Sunday directed the police to arrest the killers of Mrs Abuh Salome with a view to bringing them to justice.
