The 5th edition of Pan African Music Fashion Runway #MFA and The Game Changer Africa Acknowledgement Awards #GCAA has been announced and set to hold on Saturday 30th November 2019 at the Wheatbaker Lagos, Ikoyi, Nigeria, West Africa.
Last month, the founders & organisers, NMO Management Limited in a press conference unveiled Asogwa Alexandra Amuche aka Alex Unusual as the official ambassador/face of this year’s event themed ‘Prêt-à-Porter: African fashion for a world market’.
“From inception, team work and a shared passion created #MFR the platform has evolved into an African jewel and commercially viable brand. We are proud to announce culturally inclusive and iconic Wheatbaker Lagos as our hosts for this milestone 5th edition.” Managing Director/CEO of NMO Management Limited, Ngozi Omambala announced.
“Additionally, Game Changer Africa Acknowledgement (GCAA) Award categories have expanded to reflect its continued growth and development.” she concluded.
Pan African Music Fashion Runway (MFA) is a cultural showcase platform which blends contemporary Pan African designers, international runway models with cutting edge fashion and live music excellence: a true celebration our rich African cultural heritage. Previous iconic MFR designers include Frank Osodi (Nigeria) and David Tlale (South Africa).
The Game Changer Africa Acknowledgement Awards (GCAA) platform at MFR honours industry trailblazers and pioneers recognizing their contribution in the creative industry. Past recipients include veteran actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, legendary filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, iconic fashion designer Lanre Da Silva and philanthropist, the late Wale Aborderin.
