Further Suspicions Looms, As Supreme Court Postpones Kano Governorship Election Appeal

The Supreme Court which has begun the hearing of appeals from five other states Imo, Bauchi, Sokoto, Plateau and Benue States, has further postponed the hearing of appeal against INEC’s declaration of Umar Abdullahi Ganduje of APC, as the governor elect in the March 9, 2019 Kano governorship election.

The Apex Court has postponed it till January 20th against the initial Tuesday, January 14.

The appeal was filed by Abba Kabir Yusuf, the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the March 9, 2019 Kano governorship election. The appeal challenging the election victory of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state.
