English football club, Manchester United have completed transfer deal for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to reports.
It was revealed that the deal cost the Red Devils the sum of £64 million, making him the second expensive defender the English club will sign within 12 months having previously signed Harry Maguire at £80 million from Leicester City.
Another report hinted that Koulibaly, who was wanted by Arsenal and Tottenham as well will not move to Old Trafford until summer transfer window.
Italian journalist Fabio Santini broke the news, and speaking on the TV show Il Processo he said: “Napoli will sell Kalidou Koulibaly to Manchester United for a figure of around 70-75m euros. It seems all done.
“Naturally, such a deal will be closed only in June and certainly not in January in the winter transfer window.”
In another report, Manchester United will tonight play against Wolverhampton in FA Cup Third Round at Old Trafford.
