The management of Aero Contractors has said it will be suspending flight operations for 14 days due to the outbreak coronavirus in Nigeria.
In a statement signed by Rogers Cookey, commercial manager, Aero Contractors, it stated that “The management has suspended all Aero flight operations for 14 days due to COVID-19 with effect from 26th March, 2020.
“In other words, Aero flight will operate up till mid night 25th March, 2020. This is to ensure the safety of our passengers and staff.”
This statement is coming few hours after Aero contractors explained that it disinfects every aircraft before and after every flight, saying it had deployed all necessary measures aimed at combating the Coronavirus since the outbreak.
A statement issued by the company and made available to journalists explained that throughout the period Atiku’s son was at the airport and on the flight, he wore his face masks and had limited contact with passengers.
