COVID-Organics: Madagascar govt Charge Nigeria to pay N78,200,000 For CVO

As countries of the world struggles to discover and produce the deadly Coronavirus vaccines and medicines, the Madagascar government has produced it own herbal medicine ‘CVO’ or ‘Coronavirus Organics’, towards preferring solutions.

According to reports, the ‘CVO’ allocated to Nigeria and delivered by Guinea Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embalo arrived in Aso Rock and to President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday been May 16, in Abuja.

The Nigerian government has been informed that the consignment delivered will cost the Nigerian government Euro (€)170,000 (N78,200,000).

The Nation reported that an invoice was delivered along with the drug.

” Madagascar has asked Nigeria to pay over €170,000 (N78, 200,000). We have received the invoice because the African country has made us to realise that the drugs are not being given out free”, The Nation quoted a source as saying.

However, Madagascar which has never recorded any death since this pandemic, on Saturday recorded her first case as a 57 year old health worker who was diabetic and also with HBP died from COVID-19.

Remember how the World Health Organization (WHO) had warned against the use of CVO without any medical supervision and cautioned against self-medication.

The WHO further said that they have not approved the concoction for the patients suffering from COVID-19.

On Thursday, the WHO, however, has called for clinical trials of CVO.

“Covid-Organics is a preventive and curative remedy against COVID-19, which works very well,” said President Andry Rajoelina

He attributed recovery of 105 COVID-19 patients in Madagascar to the herbal potion.
