Another £211million Abacha Loot Seized From Bank Account in Channel Islands

The Late Nigerian Army officer and dictator who served as the de facto President of Nigeria from 1993 until his death in 1998 & also the first Nigerian soldier to attain the rank of a full star General without skipping a single rank General Sani Abacha allegedly laundered money valued at over 211 million pounds through the US into the Channel Islands.

The money had been lodged in accounts held in Jersey by Doraville Properties Corporation, a British Virgin Islands Company.

This discovery was disclosed in a British tabloid, Metro on Tuesday.
It also added that the money is now being held by the government until authorities in Jersey, the US and Nigeria come to an agreement on how it should be distributed.
