Arsenal ready to table player-plus-cash deal to sign holding PL club midfielder.
Arsenal are set to offer Switzerland international Granit Xhaka plus £40 million in a bid to lure Leicester into selling midfield star Wilfred Ndidi, according to the latest reports.
Mikel Arteta is wasting no time in looking to sell the controversial Swiss star in one of his first acts as Arsenal chief.
Arteta knows if the Gunners are to improve they need to show a little more determination and grit across the pitch and he is looking to start in the midfield, with Foxes star Ndidi.
The 23-year-old has been a key factor in Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes storming to second in the PL this term.
Ndidi has played 20 times across all competitions this term, scoring twice – against Newcastle and Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Granit has played just four times in the PL since his outburst against Palace.
The midfielder has been connected with Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin amongst others in recent days.
