Benin Prison Break: Thugs Breaks through Oko Prison in Benin, Free Prisoners

Monday morning in Sapele road in Benin city thugs who were reportedly sent to disrupt protesters activities broke through the Oko Prison popularly called Whitehouse to free prison inmates.

According to sources and reports, no prison warders were insight nor policemen. Videos captured were some of the prisoners who escaped were giving thanks for been freed and gave account of how they were imprisoned without trials.

Some of them alleged that they paid money for their alleged crime scene to be investigated without fruitfulness, hence, they were remanded for years without trial until the Oko prison was invaded by hoodlums who set them free.

A cross section of the masses viewed this as another Propaganda from the government to disturb the #EndSARS movement. We won’t buy it.

Another group said the prison break at Sapele Road, Benin City on should not be pinned on #EndSARS protests. The prisoners revolted & escaped.

There are no videos of people going in, only prisoners jumping out.
