Buhari’s uncle rescued from kidnappers, flown to Abuja

The rescued uncle to President Muhammadu Buhari and Magajin Garin Daura Musa Umar Uba has been taken to Abuja where he might likely meet with President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Magajin Garin Daura who was rescued in a combined operation of Kano Police and DCP Abba Kyari IG Team along Madobi Local Government Area of Kano State in the early hours of Tuesday was said to have been transported to Abuja immediately under heavy Security guard.

DSP Haruna Abdullahi Kiyawa, the Kano Command Spokesman confirmed to our Correspondent that the operation is still ongoing even after the rescue mission.

He said heavy ammunition were recovered from the Kidnappers and some of the ring leaders were arrested by the police.

DSP Haruna promised to provide details to the media immediately after the conclusion of the operations, saying, “You know we can’t open up our operation that is ongoing, but we will details to you shortly”.
