Car Theft: Court Dismiss Allegation Against Naira Marley

Following December 16, 2019 car theft allegation against Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley, a Magistrate Court in Lagos on Tuesday has dismissed such an allegation against the musician cum dancer and his two siblings and cousin.

Marley along with his two brothers, namely: Idris Fashola, 18; Babatunde Fashola, 24; and their cousin, Kunle Obere, 22, were standing trial on a four-count charge of conspiracy, stealing, assault and obstructing the police from arresting Marley.

The case was dismissed by Chief Magistrate Tajudeen Ellias following the Nigerian Police letter to the court demanding the withdrawal of the said case against the alleged, because the complaint and the alleged had reach an out of court agreement and settlement.

The court granted the accused(Naira Marley, 2 brothers and 1 cousin) bail of the sum of #500,000 with no conditions attached.
