Popular indigenous rapper and former YBNL act, Chinko Ekun in a latest statement have awarded himself the best Rapper in the country.
He disclosed that he doesn’t need validation about this as he stressed that winning of awards doesn’t make one the best.
Chinko Ekun tweeted:
“I can boldly say I’m the best and most versatile rapper in Nigeria and don’t seek for anyone’s validation but you know what… sometimes you have to dance to the tune and act a monkey in other to get the banana. Merry Christmas & happy new year in advance my people.”
You get your quick recognition only when you die. But do you have to wait that long ? No king forever, when you see talents & people put in the work appreciate them.
You have to be dogged to thrive in whatever field you chose in a country like nigeria.

This is coming at a time when the likes of Vector and MI Abaga have been clashing one who is the best rapper in the country.
Also recently Blac Bonez had declared himself the best rapper in Africa and so far no rapper has come out to dispute it as he has gone ahead to have features with different stars.
This new statement by Chinko Ekun might awaking some opposition from other indigenous rappers especially Yoruba rappers, who are the dominant forces with the likes of Olamide, Reminisce, CDQ, Vector Lil Kesh, Falz among others.
Hopefully, one of them might respond to Chinko Ekun’s new title.
