All Progressive Congress(APC) National Chairman, Adam Aliu Oshiomole has been suspended by an Abuja High Court on Wednesday following the application filed by an applicant, Oluwale Afolabi, challenging Oshiomole’s continuing stay in office as the party’s National Chairman after been suspended by Edo APC.
Afolabi, in his application dated and filed on January 16 had contended that Oshiomhole was currently suspended by the party and had not challenged the suspension.
Oshiomole and the APC were first and second respondents respectively.
Delivering judgement, Justice Danlami Senchi, gave a temporal suspension following an application of interlocutory injunction asking the court to suspend Oshiomhole, having been suspended as a member of the APC by the party in Edo State.
Justice Senchi, in his ruling held that the APC wrongfully kept Oshiomhole as the national chairman of the party and ordered that he should stop parading himself as the National Chairman of the APC.
Senchi urged the APC to desist from acknowledging him as the chairman of the party and also gave the APC orders not to deny Oshiomhole access to the party’s secretariat.
