COVID-19: APC Headquarters to Shutdown For 2 Weeks

The Headquarters of the ruling party, the All Progressive Congress(APC), has been shutdown indefinitely over Coronavirus pandemic.

The national secretariat of the ruling party was shutdown on Monday after an order from the National Chairman of APC, Adams Aliu Oshiomole in Abuja.

This closure for two weeks was taken to honour an order from the Federal Government that all should stay away from public social gathering.

According to Oshiomhole, the closure was in line with the Federal Government directive ordering that people should stay away from large congregations and social gatherings.

“This is just a preventive measure that the party has taken by closing down the secretariat for about two weeks so that we can manage the situation at hand.

The National Chairman inform press men that the shutdown might be extended depending on the measures taken towards the annihilation of the virus.
