COVID-19: Katsina state Govt Announce First Death

As the Coronavirus pandemic get more intensed across the globe, Katsina state in Nigeria has registered first death case from the global virus.

Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State on Tuesday, announced the death of the state’s first coronavirus patient.

Governor Masari during a press briefing, said the patient is a Daura-based private medical practitioner identified as Dr. Aminu Yakubu.

The governor said ”the deceased recently returned from Lagos to the state, the Nation reports”.
