Edo 2020: Obaseki Reacts to His Disqualification as he urge his supporters to be calm

Shortly after the Disqualification of Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state, the incumbent governor has come out to say that he will not appeal his Disqualification by APC screening committee led by Professor Jonathan Ayuba.

“The Edo state governor said it would be an effort in futility to appeal the outcome of the process.”

“Obaseki also urged his supporters to remain calm and await further directives just as he described his disqualification as unjust.”

Obaseki who is seeking re-election into office was disqualified at the screening process for the primaries on Friday, June 12.

His statement of not appealing his disqualification was released to the press via his verified twitter handle @GovernorObaseki.
