Ngg.ng reports that the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has handed over 35 pick up vehicles to security agencies in the state.
Okowa said, “addressing insecurity requires constant collaboration amongst the government, our security agencies, and our citizens. This is why, today, I was delighted to officially handover 35 pick up vehicles to the various security agencies in Delta State.
These vehicles have been procured to facilitate the movement of our security operatives — as we work to boost their effectiveness and quicken their response times to emergencies that occur across our state.
Moving forward, it is my hope that issues like kidnapping, armed robbery, cultism and herdsmen attacks in Delta State will be curbed as we continue to partner with our communities and security agencies to achieve the desired results.”
