Igbo Group Cautions FG Against Visa on Arrival Policy

The Igbo National Council of Nigeria (INCN) led by Chilos Godsent, the President of the INCN has called on the Nigerian Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari to reverse the Visa-on-Arrival policy for Africans who wants to visit the country.

The group says that terrorism in Nigeria is on the increase on a daily basis. They have however warned that, if the Visa on Arrival policy is not reversed, that the greatest negative impact will be the escalation of terrorism.

Speaking from Owerri, the INCN secretary Zulu Ofoelue warned that the policy would endanger the country’ s security apparatus of the country.

The economy of the nation would be endangered if the policy was not reversed, the group also stated.
