The deputy governor of Imo State, Rt. Hon. Engr. Gerald Irona over the weekend, inspected the ongoing Electricity Installations in Oguta to ascertain the level of work done so far by men of Enugu Electricity Distribution Company. (EEDC).
It would be recalled that Oguta Electricity for the last 3 months has been restored following the drastic measures cum steps that were taken by the Deputy Governor, and also a manifestation of his Campaign promise to Ndi Oguta.
It is also important to note that Oguta in the last eight years of Rochas Okorocha administration, were subjected to undeserved absolute darkness, thereby paving ways to men of the underworld to selfishly and intentionally vandalize transformers and other Electrical equipment in Oguta.
Everyone within Oguta would attest to the obvious and glaring fact that there have been major Electrical Installations as well as the Installation of NEW 500KVA transformers which Ogutians are not only enjoying Electricity supply, but they are enjoying improved uninterrupted power supplies.
However, the deputy governor frowned at the pace of work by EEDC officials as he encouraged them to put more effort into installing the remaining transformer.
