Nigeria Senate Adjourns Plenary Session to Friday Over Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu Death

The Senate who adjourned Wednesday’s plenary session for Thursdays has now re-adjourned Thursdays plenary session to Fridays using Senate’s rule 13 following the death of a Senator of the 9th Assembly, Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu, who died today at 51.

Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu until his death was representing Imo North Senatorial District.

The motion to adjourn Thursdays Plenary session was moved by Senator Abdullahi Yahaya, who is the senate leader and seconded by senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, suspending rule 13 of the senate, the plenary session of the senate was adjourned till Friday.
