The Ogun State Government led by Governor Dapo Abiodun have commenced the constructions of two Housing Estates in the state.
According to Gov. Abiodun, the construction of the Estates is part of his administration efforts to address the deficit in Housing.
The report disclosed that the two Housing Estates are located at Ibara and Hilltop areas of the state.
Gov. Dapo Abiodun in his statement said, “We have commenced the construction of two Housing Estates in Abeokuta, the State Capital, as part of our efforts to address the deficit in housing. I made this known yesterday during the Abeokuta Club Investiture Ceremony during which I was conferred Honorary Patron.
The two Estates are respectively located in the Ibara and Hilltop areas of the metropolis. This is no white elephant housing scheme and the Estates are so strategically located that our people can easily have access to these decent yet affordable houses.
Our administration will continue to do more, because we are convinced that such recognitions like the Investiture, are commendations of our modest contributions to humanity and a call to higher responsibilities.”
