PHOTOS: Godswill Akpabio Held Hostage By Crowd After His Court Of Appeal Victory

Crowd of supporters gathered in their numbers to hail Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio whose election was upheld by the Appeal Court on Friday. The supporters stormed the funeral of the former Governor of the old Cross River State, Chief Donald Dick Etiebet in Ikot Ekpuk, Oruk Anam Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom -which the senator and his friends attended.

According to reports, a team of security operatives had a hectic time keeping away the surging crowd who accompanied Senator Akpabio amidst drumming and dancing. The senator thanked the youths for their support and said his victory would spur him to do more for his constituents.
