Thursday, Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu provided guidelines for the reopening of religious institutions in the state.
According to the governor, Muslim services will resume on Friday 19 June while Christian worship begins on the Sunday 21 June, 2020.
Other guidelines includes;
Children below age 15 and the elderly from 65 years and above are not permitted at religious gatherings.
Religious gatherings are restricted to Fridays and Sundays only.
Churches and Mosques must be 40% of the venue’s capacity.
No hugging, handshakes, serving of food e.g. the holy communion etc in any religious centre.
Remember yesterday, Lagos State Government had urged religious and social event Centres within the State to commence registration via a designated portal so as to enforce the COVID-19 guidelines of the State.
