Juventus coach, Maurizio Sarri in a recent statement spoke on the comparison between Portugal star, Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentine star, Lionel Messi.
Sarri disclosed that part of his dream at Juve is to help Ronaldo match up with his arch-rival, Messi in terms of winning the Ballon d’Or.
The Italian stressed that it was annoying to see that that someone has won the prestigious award more than Ronaldo.
He said via Goal.com “I would like to help Cristiano win the sixth Ballon d’Or first. “It’s really annoying thinking that someone won more than him. I think about him and I think helping him, it is my goal and the goal of the team. It is right for him.”
Ronaldo lost the sixth Ballon d’Or to Lionel Messi last season with Messi now having six. With age not on the Portuguese side, his chances of winning it are low, however, we don’t know the magic Sarri wants to perform.
