September has been a very busy month for many of Nigerian hip hop artistes and this may be likely to the fact that it is just three months left to the end of the year 2019.

In the 9th month, top Nigerian stars have released some nice songs that will actually trend for the rest of the year.

  • 49-99 by Tiwa Savage

The mother of one, who is currently signed to ROC Nation released her first official single following her exit from Mavin.

According to a statement by Tiwa Savage she revealed that YBNL label owner, Olamide and Pheelz co-write the song for her and it was produce by Pheelz.

According to findings, the meaning of the 49-99 has been traced to an old Fela song about suffering and smiling, 49 sitting and 99 standing in the popular “Molue” commuting bus.

  • Ghetto Love by Wizkid

Wizkid made his first single for the year 2019 in September and the song was his regular kind of Afrobeat which was produced by Killertunes. The song features in a way Wizzy while growing up and what he is today. However, some of his fans are not impressed with the recent released.

  •  Rora by Reekadobanks 

Like Tiwa Savage, Reekado Banks is a former Mavin Recording artiste, and Rora is yet another banging single from him.
The song is produced by  Tuzi and is influenced by Afro-beat and jazz sounds.  He is also expected to released his album titled ‘Uncmn‘ soon.

Lil-kesh

  •  Nnkan Be by Lil Kesh ft Mayorkun

YAGI Records owner, Lil Kesh in September released the music video to his latest banging song dubbed, “ Nkan Be ” which was produced by Rexxie..

The song saw Lil Kesh feature DMW singer, Mayorkun, which serves as his second single for the year.

Worthy of mention is Phyno, who released his Album, Deal With It, in September, Olamide also released Pawon which came out towards the end of August.

Kizz Daniel is also working on a song but we are yet to know if it will be released before the end of September.
