U.S Police Officer Charged in George Floyd’s Death release on Bond

A former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin who pinned down George Floyd until he died in May 2020 has been released on Wednesday after he posted a $1 million in bond.

Chauvin has been charged with second and third degree murder and manslaughter in relation to George Floyd’s death.

Other three former officers who also held Floyd down were charged with aiding and abetting murder.
