Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo was present at the two-day summit on Free and Compulsory Primary and Secondary Education that took place in Kano State.
The Vice President while disclosing his pleasure to attending such summits applauded the Kano State Government on it moves to improve the level of education in the state.
He further disclosed that the Federal Government is ready to work with State Governments to ensure the development of basic education.
He said, “It is worthy to note what Kano is doing with Education. They are positioning themselves to trigger an education revolution. President Muhammadu Buhari is committed to investing in human capital and we will work in tandem with State Governments to ensure basic education development.”
